Sauvignon Blanc is a grape variety renowned worldwide for its finesse and elegance. It produces a wine with citrus and boxwood aromas, typical of our estate’s clay soils. Sauvignon Blanc has a slightly orange-yellow color, with an intense nose of white flowers, pear, lychee and lemon. On the palate, it is frank, invigorating, lively and fine, with good balance and length. The finish is persistent, lemony and mineral.

History of the grape variety
Sauvignon Blanc originated in the Bordeaux region of France. Its name comes from the French word “sauvage”, reflecting its origins as a vine indigenous to France. Sauvignon Blanc is now grown in many wine-growing regions around the world, including New Zealand.
